Meet The Team

Sophia Preston

Sophia Preston is a senior who will be graduating from Iowa State University in May 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering with a supplemental focus in Security. This will be Sophia’s third Bachelor’s degree (her previous degrees were a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Family & Individual Development from Northern Illinois University). Sophia lives in Ames, Iowa, with her husband, Robert; two sons, Jacob and Lucas; and her dog, Merlin.

Kristin Clemens

Kristin Clemens is a senior who will be graduating from Iowa State University in August 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering. Next summer Kristin will be completing a second internship with General Dynamics Mission Systems in Bloomington, MN, after which she will be moving into a full time position there working in High Performance Computing. Kristin lives in Des Moines, Iowa, with her husband, Aaron; and two spoiled bearded dragons, Darwin and Scooby.

Megan Solleveld

Megan Solleveld is a senior graduating from Iowa State University in May 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineer with a focus in Software. Megan moved to Iowa from Norco, a small town in Southern California, just over three years ago. She has since settled into Midwestern life and adopted a cat, Hopper. She plans to stay in Ames after graduating, either continuing her education, or working full time.

Steff Bisinger

Steff Bisinger is a senior graduating from Iowa State University in May 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering with a focus in security. She plans to pursue her Master’s of Science in Information Assurance at Iowa State. Recently, Steff and four other students won the National Cyber Analyst Challenge. After her Masters, Steff plans to continue to work towards making the internet a safer place, wherever that may take her.

Chris read

Chris Read is a senior graduating from Iowa State University in May 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering with a focus in security.  He has had two internships. The first was with General Dynamics Information Technology as an Information Security IT Intern, and the second was with Koch Business Solutions as a Computing Operations Intern.  Upon graduation, Chris will be working full time with Koch Business Solutions as a Windows Analyst.
